Everything you share with us for your project: manuscripts, drafts, ideas, outlines, characters, plot details, your personal information, and anything else about the work.
What we promise
We will keep it confidential. We won't copy, share, publish, post, or show it to anyone else without your written permission, and we'll use it only to do the work you hired us for.
Our No AI commitment
We will never let your work be used to train an AI model. No AI is used in the production of your book.
Not for editing, not for rewriting, not for summarising, not for generating suggestions. Your work stays out of systems that may retain it, and the editing you receive is the judgement of a human editor who has actually read your book.
Our team
Only the people working on your project will see your work, and they're bound by these same rules. If they break them, that's on us.
Your rights stay yours
You own your work. Nothing here gives us any rights to it beyond doing the job. On final delivery and full payment, all rights in the delivered work are yours. We retain no royalties, no authorship claim, and no ongoing interest in your book.
Where we ghostwrite, we make no claim to authorship, publicly or privately. Your name is the only one on the book. We don't list ghostwritten titles in our portfolio and won't reference them even anonymously unless you tell us we may.
Exceptions
These rules don't cover information that's already public, that we already had, or that's legally required to disclose. If a court requires us to disclose something, we'll tell you first if we're allowed to.
Getting your files back
Ask us at any point, or when the project ends, and we will return or delete everything and confirm in writing that it is done. Copies held in our automatic backups may take longer to clear, but they remain confidential for as long as they exist.
Assets and licensing
Every font, image, icon and texture we source for your book is either commercially licensed and paid for by us, or royalty-free with commercial-use rights. We do not use personal-use-only or unverified assets, and we keep the licensing records for your documentation.
Anything we source is our responsibility. Materials you supply (photographs, logos, third-party text) remain yours, and we will review them and their sources with you before anything is included.
How long this lasts
Indefinitely. Our confidentiality obligations do not expire when your project ends.
